Tamara guides clients through complex corporate and securities matters. Her practice involves working with Canadian and international private equity sponsors and venture capital firms, as well as, portfolio companies, emerging and growth companies, investors, reporting issuers, boards of directors and management teams. Tamara works with clients across a wide range of industries with a growing emphasis on the technology sectors.
Tamara regularly advises and partners with clients to execute their transactional and investment work including:
- Mergers, acquisitions and divestures
- Reorganizations and plans of arrangement
- Corporate finance including, recapitalizations, securities offerings and bridge financing
- Majority and minority equity investments
She is also engaged in supporting the day-to-day corporate needs of companies and securities regulatory compliance.
Before joining BLG, Tamara practised corporate and securities law at another national law firm. Earlier in her career she worked as an intensive care unit nurse in hospitals across Canada.
