Courtney is an associate in our Commercial Real Estate Group. She advises a large cross section of clients that includes private entrepreneurs, public and private corporations, asset managers, and developers on a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development.
Before joining BLG as an associate, Courtney summered and articled with the firm.

- Acted for InnVest Hotels in its C$410 million purchase of a portfolio of 14 high-quality hotels in Ontario and Nova Scotia and the subsequent sale by InnVest Hotels of 4 of the hotels to Manga Hotel Group.
- Acted for George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology in its C$232.5 million acquisition of 25 Dockside Drive, Toronto, Ontario.
- Acted for Grand River Hospital Corporation and St. Mary's General Hospital, a division of St. Joseph's Health System, to complete their strategic merger to form Waterloo Regional Health Network (see announcement here).
- Acted for Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's General Hospital, a division of St. Joseph's Health System, in the procurement and acquisition of vacant land for the development of a new acute care hospital in the Kitchener-Waterloo region.
- Acted for Metrolinx in connection with linear land assembly and related arrangements for the Ontario Line.
- Acted for Parkland Corporation in a major divestiture program.
- Acted for various lenders in various types of project and structured finance transactions, including multi-use, condo, shopping centres and other real estate assets.
