Aleah is an Articling Student at BLG’s Ottawa office for the 2023-2024 term. She is focusing on disputes and corporate law.

In law school, Aleah worked as a research assistant for Distinguished University Professor, Constance Backhouse, and supported her research in racial bias. Additionally, she provided research assistance for the Centre of Health Law, Policy, and Ethics.

Aleah volunteered as a student mentor for first year University of Ottawa students. She served as the Vice President for the NORTH (Navigating Ottawa Resources To Improve Health) Clinic.

Prior to joining BLG, Aleah worked as a Registered Nurse in specialized acute care settings. She continues to provide health related research for academics and other professionals across Canada.

In her spare time, Aleah is active and enjoys spin classes, cooking with friends, and looking after her many plants.
