Mishail is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2023 summer term. She is focusing on business law.
Prior to joining BLG, Mishail worked at CAM, India’s largest top-tier law firm, for three years. As an M&A lawyer, she worked on various private and public acquisitions and private equity investments. She then moved to the Competition Law space where she represented clients in cartel and abuse of dominance investigations. Mishail continues to foster her interest in this field at Osgoode, as a member of its Competition Law Society.
Mishail decided to work at BLG owing to her interactions with the firm members who were genuinely interested in and wanted to promote her professional journey. This culture of competing externally with other firms but uplifting its members internally made BLG a clear choice for her.
In her spare time, Mishail loves playing the guitar and singing. When she is not at home with her two cats, she is out exploring the city with her friends, attending music shows and finding the best places to eat.
