Rachel is a returning articling student at BLG’s Toronto office. She is focusing on disputes law.
As a law student, Rachel participated extensively in the mooting program and was most recently a Quarter Finalist and recipient of the Best New Team award at the Oxford International Intellectual Property Law Moot. Prior to this, she was a Semi-Finalist and Runner-Up Best Oralist at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. Additionally, Rachel was a Student Ambassador and Research Assistant at her law school.
Prior to joining BLG as a summer student, Rachel worked at a boutique law firm specializing in corporate, cryptocurrency, and blockchain law during her 1L summer.
Rachel thoroughly enjoyed her summer at BLG and experienced firsthand the firm’s mentorship and wide breadth of litigation. Rachel chose to return to BLG because of the firm’s dedication to its students, its innovative strategies, and its commitment to inclusion and diversity.
In Rachel’s spare time, you can find her working out, most likely on a spin bike, discovering new food and restaurants, or travelling home to her favourite place: the mountains of Alberta.
