David’s intellectual property practice focuses on obtaining, evaluating and advising on patent protection. He is regularly involved in obtaining patent protection on behalf of corporate, government and academic clients in the life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
David’s areas of expertise include:

After graduate school, David worked in Ottawa at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario as a research associate and at a start-up biotechnology company. He has conducted research in the areas of synthetic organic chemistry, cell surface remodelling, and molecular and cellular biology.
