Her litigation experience spans proceedings before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, and Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She also regularly supports clients in opposition and expungement matters before the Trademarks Opposition Board.
As a registered Trademark Agent, Any manages trademark portfolios and advises on complex clearance issues, examiner report responses, evidence building, and opposition strategy. Her clients include businesses in:

Prior to joining BLG, Any practiced at the Toronto office of a large multinational firm. As a student, Any worked as a research assistant to the late Professor Alan N. Young at Osgoode Hall Law School where she co-drafted a factum for the Ontario Court of Appeals, and drafted memoranda in administrative, procedural, constitutional, and criminal areas of the law.
Any is a recipient of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada’s Educational Foundation Award. The Educational Foundation Award is given to the candidate with the highest overall mark in the Trademark Agent Qualifying Examination. Any is also trilingual in English, Spanish, and French.
