Muna is an articling student in BLG’s Toronto office for the 2026-2027 term, where she supports lawyers across the Business and Disputes groups, focusing on business law.
Before joining BLG, Muna spent nearly five years on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. She served as an Issues Manager, Parliamentary Affairs Advisor, and French and English writer to both the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In her final year of law school, she returned to Parliament Hill as Deputy Director, Parliamentary Affairs and Issues Management, to the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure and Minister responsible for Pacific Economic Development Canada.
At McGill Law, Muna was the Editor-in-Chief of the McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution, President of the McGill Arbitration Student Society, and Co-President of McGill’s Women of Colour Collective. She won the 2023 Canadian National Negotiation Competition (French division) and later returned as a judge at both the pre-qualifier and national levels. In recognition of her advocacy, mentorship, and leadership throughout her time at McGill, the McGill Alumni Association awarded her the 2025 Chancellor Gretta Chambers Student Leadership Award.

In her spare time, Muna immerses herself in Toronto’s vibrant music scene, discovers new restaurants, follows global and domestic politics, and practices the seven languages she speaks.
